Similac (for "similar to lactation") is a baby formula brand developed by Alfred Bosworth of Tufts University and marketed by Abbott Laboratories. It was first released in late 1920, and then redefined and centered in 1951. Now, Similac is sold in 96 countries around the world.

• 1903 - Harry C. Moores and Stanley M. Ross launch Moores & amp; Ross's Milk Company specializing in bottled milk for home delivery.
• 1925 - Alfred Bosworth creates a baby formula called "Franklin Baby Food", which was later renamed Similac.
• 1928 - The company changed its name to "M & amp; Diatetic Laboratories", sold its regular milk operations to Borden and focused on baby milk.
• 1950 - Company introduces "Similac Concentrated Liquid" in the US, infant formula without powder.
