A turki is a fun run or footrace, usually from a wide range of distances, held on or around Thanksgiving Day in the United States. Traditionally, turkey turkeys are held because Americans anticipate a pampering Thanksgiving celebration and run in a turkey tract to burn calories before a big meal. Turkish trots are also held in England, usually shortly before or after Christmas.

In the United States, many of the courses used for these Thanksgiving events run in the USA Track's premiere and certified race races between 5,000 and 42,195 meters. Some organizations held their turkey traction a week before Thanksgiving to provide a lively holiday meal for the homeless and low-income families in their community. Turkish trots have a variety of sizes ranging from only a few dozen runners to tens of thousands. Most turkey trains are beneficial to local charities. The first prize to win a turkey tour is a real frozen turkey that a winner can use for his family's Thanksgiving party.

Some turkey tricks are race predictions - wristwatches are not allowed, with prizes to finish closest to your estimated time. Some races have prizes for costumes.
