A vibration feeder is an instrument that uses vibrations to "feed" material to a process or machine. Vibration feeder uses vibration and gravity to move material. Gravity is used to determine the direction, either down, or down and sideways, and then vibration is used to move the material. They are mainly used for transporting large numbers of smaller objects.

The belt weighing is only used to measure the material flow rate but the heavy feeder can measure the flow material and also control or adjust the flow rate by varying the speed of the belt conveyor.

Industry Served

Versatile and coarse vibrant bowl feeders have been heavily used to feed automatically small industrial parts to large and different shapes. They are the oldest automation machines but still commonly used to align and feed machine parts, electronic components, plastic parts, chemicals, metal parts, glass bottles, pharmaceuticals, food, miscellaneous goods etc. Available in standard and custom designs, vibratory bowl feeders have been widely purchased by various industry sectors to automate high-speed production lines and assembly systems. Some industries that use this automation service include:

  • Pharmacy
  • Automotive
  • Electronics
  • Food Processing
  • Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG)
  • Packaging
  • Metal work
  • Glass
  • Foundry
  • Steel
  • Construction
  • Recycle
  • Pulp and paper
  • Plastics
  • Uphill, (also known as a salmon table)

With an easy-to-use and high-performance feeder machine, customers from various industry sectors have reached lower error rates, lower power consumption, better profits, better efficiency levels and less labor dependency.
