AS. program

Child Feed domestic programs are focused on the distribution of food and essential items for families in need. Corporate partners donate excess food and other supplies. Feed The wholly-owned subsidiaries, FTC Transportation, Inc., make contributions in the form of goods from the company's warehouse and take them to one of the five regional Feed The regional feed centers. International program

Feeding children is nothing compared to oureach gamers, medical aid, emergency assistance and sustainable development. Recent international efforts include the Abandoned Baby Center (ABC) in Nairobi, Kenya, which provides medical care and shelter for children who have been orphaned or abandoned by poverty and the AIDS epidemic. Another example of an international project funded by Feed The Children includes medical mission trips and "Casa del NiÃÆ' Â ± o" (Children's House) in Barrio Ingles, La Ceiba, Honduras. In 2009, the FTC has expanded its program in Malawi. Using donations in the form of goods from Nuskin, Inc., 50,000 orphans and pre-school children, mostly in rural areas, receive a fortified porridge, VitaMeal. Feed The Children has received a $ 8.5 million grant from USAID as part of a 5-year, $ 20 million project for orphans and vulnerable children. This will increase food security and access to nutrition, education, clean water, sanitation and sustainable agricultural development for 40,000 households and more than 70,000 HIV/AIDS-affected children in Malawi. The Tiwaler e The OVC project, fully operational in 2011, will make Malawi the largest international program.
