Xrroid Electro Physiological Feedback ( EPFX ), also known as The Xrroid Quantum Awareness Interface ( QXCI ), is a so-called energy treatment device that claims to read body reactivity to various frequencies and then sends back other frequencies to make changes in the body. It was produced and marketed by "Professor Bill Nelson," also known as DesirÃÆ'Â Dubounet. Nelson is currently operating in Hungary, a fugitive from the US following charges of fraud related to EPFX.

The description of the device in the mainstream media records its high price tag ($ 20,000 US) and the nature of the claim that it is impossible to make for it. It has been reported to have been used to "treat" a variety of serious diseases including cancer. In one documented case, undiagnosed and untreated leukemia resulted in the death of a patient.

The Quackwatch website posted an analysis of the device by Stephen Barrett who concluded: "Quantum Xrroid devices are claimed to balance the 'bio-energetic' power not recognized by the scientific community as real. This primarily reflects the skin's resilience (how easily the voltage current from the device passes through the skin ), which is unrelated to the health of the body. "

Imports to the U.S. are now banned.
