Bad take-up adjustment: this is a simple adjustment on most systems but is often ignored. The chain picking device ensures that the chain is pulled together when leaving the drive unit. When wear occurs and the chain extends, take-up extends under the strength of its spring. As they elongate, the spring force becomes less and take-up has less effect. Simply compress the springs taken and your problem is lost. Failure to do this can lead to chain bumps, traffic jams, and extreme wear on lanes and chains. Take-up adjustments are also important for each conveyor using a belt as a means to turn on the roller, or the belt itself as a propeller. With poor usage on a belt driven roller, the belt may twist into the drive unit and cause damage, or at least a noticeable reduction or complete loss of performance may occur. In the case of conveyor belts, poor pickup can cause damage to the drive unit or may cause the belt to be detached from the side of the chassis.

Lack of lubrication: chain bearings require lubrication to reduce friction. The pull chain that drives experience can double if the pads are not lubricated. This may cause the system to be overloaded either by mechanical or electrical overload protection. In conveyors that pass through a hot oven, the lubricant can be left on or set to light every few cycles.

Contamination: paints, powders, acid or base liquids, abrasives, glass beads, steel shots, etc. Everything can cause rapid lane and chain damage. Pneumatic conveyor system

Each pneumatic system uses a pipe or duct called a transport line that carries a mixture of materials and airflow. These materials are free flowing flour materials such as cement and fly ash. The product is moved through the tube by air pressure. Pneumatic conveyor is a carrier system or an aqueous phase system; the carrier system only pushes items from one entry point to an exit point, such as a money-changer pneumatic tube used on the bank's drive-through window. The aqueous phase system uses push-pull pressure to guide the material through various entry and exit points. Air compressors or blowers can be used to generate airflow. Three systems used to produce high-speed airflow are:

  1. Suction or vacuum system, utilizing vacuum made in pipes to draw material with surrounding air. The system operates at low pressure, which is practically 0.4-0.5 atm below the atmosphere, and is used primarily in conveying light-free flowing materials.
  2. A system of pressure types, where positive pressure is used to push materials from one point to the next. This system is ideal for delivering material from a single point of loading to a number of demolition points. It operates at a pressure of 6 atm and up.
  3. Combined system, where the suction system is used to carry material from a number of loading points and a pressure system is used to deliver it to a number of unloading points.

The vibrating conveyor system

Vibrating Conveyor is a machine with a solid surface conveyor that appears on the side to form a trough. They are widely used in food grade applications to deliver dry bulk solids where sanitation, washing, and low maintenance are essential. The vibrating conveyor is also suitable for harsh environments, very hot, dirty, or corrosive. They can be used to deliver new metal cast parts that can reach over 1,500Â ° F (820Â ° C). Due to the fixed nature of the transporting pot, the vibrating conveyor can also perform tasks such as sorting, filtering, classifying and part-oriented. While similar in view for freight elevators, vertical conveyors are not equipped to transport people, only materials.

The vertical lift conveyor contains two adjacent parallel conveyors for the simultaneous up movement of the adjacent surface of the parallel conveyor. One conveyor usually has a separate flight distance (pot) to transport bulk food items. The double conveyor spins in the opposite direction, but is operated from one gear box to ensure the same belt speed. One conveyor hinged in a pivot to the other conveyor to swing a pivotally pinned conveyor away from the remaining conveyor for access to the facing surface of the parallel conveyor. The vertical lift conveyor can be loaded or controlled manually or automatically. Almost all vertical conveyors can be systematically integrated with horizontal conveyors, as these two conveyor systems work together to create cohesive material handling assemblies.

In common with vertical conveyors, spiral conveyors raise and lower materials to different levels of facilities. Conversely, spiral conveyors are capable of transporting material loads in a continuous stream. Industries that require higher material output - food and beverages, retail box packaging, pharmaceuticals - typically incorporate these conveyors into their systems over standard vertical conveyors because of their ability to facilitate high throughput. Most spiral conveyors also have lower slope or tilt angles (11 degrees or less) to prevent sliding and falling during operation.

Just like a spiral conveyor also a vertical conveyor that uses a fork can carry material load in a continuous stream. With this fork the load can be taken from one horizontal conveyor and placed on another horizontal conveyor at different levels. By adding more forks, more products can be removed at the same time. Conventional vertical conveyors have a limit that the input and output material loads must have the same direction. Using multiple forks a combination of different input and output levels in different directions is possible. A vertical conveyor with a fork can even be used as a vertical sorter. Compared to spiral conveyors, vertical conveyors - with or without forks - require less space.

Heavy duty back conveyor

Heavy Duty roller conveyor is used to move goods that are at least 500 pounds (230 kg). This type of conveyor makes handling heavy equipment/products easier and more time effective. Many of the heavy-duty conveyor rollers can move as fast as 75 feet per minute (23 m/min).

Other types of heavy duty roller conveyors are gravity conveyor rollers, chain driven live roller conveyors, pallet accumulation conveyors, multi-strand chain conveyors, and chain & amp; transfer rollers.

Gravity roller conveyor is very easy to use and used in many kinds of industries such as automotive and retail.

Chain-driven roller conveyors are used for single or bi-directional material handling. Large heavy loads are driven by a live chain-driven roller conveyor.

Pallet accumulated conveyors are powered through mechanical couplings. These are used instead of individually driven and controlled conveyor parts.

Multi-strand chain conveyors are used for dual pitch roller chains. Products that can not be moved on traditional roller conveyors can be moved by multi-strand chain conveyors.
